The BHD Syndrome website is the result of a partnership between the Myrovlytis Trust and the Birt-Hogg-Dubé Family Alliance.
On this page we will post links to BHD articles that can be accessed online at no charge. We’ll also post links to other organizations that may provide help or information to patients, not just in the U.S., but throughout the world.

Research Artilces on Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome
You can find several articles about BHD on the internet, more specifically on PubMed. Please consult your doctor or a genetic counselor if you have questions after reading material about Birt-Hogg-Dubé Syndrome.
Many scientific articles have been written about BHD. Most of them are published by professional medical journals. This means that they are not available in full online unless you have a subscription to them; these subscriptions are sometimes held by doctors, sometimes by medical professionals. As a member of the general public, you may have to pay a fee to download them. The cost averages from US $10 – US $75. Your doctor may be able to get them free if he/she has connections to a teaching hospital or research facility that subscribes to the journal. As we find free current articles, we will post the links here. These could be useful for you to print out and take to your medical appointments if your doctor/s are not familiar with BHD.
